Rafaat fined not banned

PLDC - Payan Rafaat, Persepolis player, went to an IFF Disciplinary Committee session yesterday, 9/12/2002, for his behaviour during the Persepolis and Malavan match of two weeks ago, when he had a dispute and fight with 
a Malavan player on the pitch. In addition to this, he was also banned from playing by Parvin for his behaviour.

The final verdict on this case was announced by the IFF Disciplinary Committee yesterday, 11/12/2002. Payan has only been fined one million Rials ($125) in cash but has fortunately not been banned from playing. 
Payan may not play in the return leg of the Elimination Cup match with Malavan because of the red card he received during the home game for his misbehaviour.
