Yavari, “Estehglal will lose in Mashhad”

PLDC - In the 4th week Professional League match Esteghlal Tehran will play against Abu Moslem on Friday, 08/11/2002 in Mashhad. Abu Moslem who is doing well in fifth place in the league table is determined to defeat the guests. Esteghlal needs to do the same as they have so far been beaten twice in the past two weeks.

Here are the comments of Mahmood Yavari, Abu Moslem head coach, “We know Esteghlal well enough. We have our full team at our service for Friday and have not changed the system but we will change the tactics. Abu
Moslem will play an offensive game and won’t allow Esteghlal to get any opportunities.”

“Esteghlal does not have a strong support here and 80 percent of the fans will be on our side. I ask the fans to come and support us so we can perform well. The fans should also behave and be honorable.”
