Ivancovic set to go to Athens

PLDC - The final formal post match interview with Branco Ivnacovic took place on Saturday, 19th October, at the new Football Federation head quarters. This was apparently the last conference until further notice. 
Ivancovic was annoyed by the fact that in the past 10 months all the questions which were asked at the beginning of each session were either about Mirzapour or against him. 

Ivancovic went on to defend the man and point out that Mirzapour had only made two mistakes in Busan. It now seems that Mirzapour has a ticket to the Athens Tournament in his pocket. The head coach of the Iranian National Team next spoke of his intention to find the team who would attend the Athens games and that the choice had to be from among those who had played in the 14th Asian games.

Ivancovic asked the media and press to save their collective energies for the support of football. He next denied having held discussions with the UAE press or clubs at the end of the interview.
