Al Shabab’s Daei scores, gets injured

PLDC - Al Shabab of the UAE played against Al Ein (UAE League) on Wednesday, 25th September, and drew against them with the score of 1-1. The Al Shabab goal was scored by their Iranian player (Iranian National Team captain) Ali Daei in the 52nd minute. The goal by Daei saved the team from losing their second match in the UAE 2002-2003 league and was also mentioned by the UAE press and media.

During the match Daei received a slight head injury and despite this flew to Busan on Thursday (with his head in bandages) for the 14th Asian Cup and the match against Afghanistan.
