has announced the list of the best goal scorers in 2001. Ali Daei, the
Iranian National Team Captain has been placed 29th with ten goals to his
name.
Daei was among the top 10 goal scorers of the world from 1996 up to 2000. Karim bagheri who was listed as 97th in 1997, has not been mentioned this year. The World's Top Goal Scorer 2001
