Esteghlal wins benefit match

MNA - Esteghlal football club beat the “Selection of Karaj” 3-1 at the Shari’ati Stadium in Karaj on Friday.
The match was held to raise money to assist former injured footballer Mohammad Parsa and cancer-stricken futsal player Babak Masumi.

Some 3,000 spectators were present at this match. Former Persepolis and Iran player and coach Ali Parvin watched the match from the stands.

Esteghlal is placed third in the Iran Professional League (IPL) standings behind Zob Ahan and Peykan.
