Rezaei might join Saba Battery

PTV - Saba Battery has held talks with former Livorno defender Rahman Rezaei to bring him back to the Iranian soccer league after seven years.

A spokesman for Saba said on Tuesday that Rezaei voiced interest in joining the club during talks. He did not disclose further details about the talks.

The 33 year-old Rezaei played for Iran's Zob Ahan until 2001, when he joined Italy's Perugia. He has also played for Messina and Livorno.

Rezaei has been capped 56 times for Iran's national team and scored three goals.

Saba is currently ranked 10th in Iran's Premier League with 16 points.
