Azerbaijani National Football Team Leaves for Match with Iran

Trendaz - The Azerbaijani National football team flew to Iran to hold friendly match with the National team of this country, the Azerbaijani Football Federations Association (AFFA), told Trend News on 25 August.

The match with Iran will take place at the Azadi stadium in Tehran at 19.30 Baku time on 27 August.

On 20 August, the Azerbaijani team met with the Iceland team at a friendly match, making a draw with the score of 1:1.

Berti Foghts, a German specialist, is a coach of the Azerbaijani National team. Foghts involved Leandro Gomesh and Usima Ndukayu, two footballers of the Azerbaijani club Olimpic, for the match with Iran. Gomesh and Ndukayu were not invited to the match with Iceland.
