Futsal legend Heidarian hangs up his boots

MNA - Iran’s futsal legend Mohammad-Reza Heidarian bade farewell to international football at the end of Iran–Spain friendly match on Tuesday.
Iran took advantage of having the pivotal player for more than 10 years.

Heidarian who has played for Ceccano Calcio, a Serie B futsal side, succeeded to win eight Asian Championship out of nine.

“It is a hard decision for me to part company with the national team. I have so many unforgettable memories with the team nevertheless I am so glad to end my career in the best situation.” Heidarian said.

Heidarian has been awarded the most valuable player of the Asian Futsal Championship.
