Iranian beach soccer team flies to France

MNA -Iran’s beach soccer team will travel to France on July 14 to take part in the 2008 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup.

Iran is in Group A and scheduled to play Uruguay in its first match on July 17. The team will also face France (host) and Senegal.

FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup will take place in Marseilles, France, on July 17-27, 2008 with the participation of 16 teams in four groups.

The top two teams will book a place in the quarter-final round.
