Foulad of Khuzestan advances to IPL

MNA - Sepahan Novin soccer team’s patent was granted to Foulad of Khuzestan on Wednesday.
Foulad failed to qualify for Iran’s Professional League (IPL) after the team was beaten by Payam of Khorasan in the play-off match. In another match, Sepahan Novin defeated Steel Azin and advanced to IPL.

Iran’s Football Federation disallowed participation of two teams from one club in the competitions, so Foulad of Khuzestan will take part in the IPL current season instead of Sepahan Novin.

Powerhouse Sepahan of Isfahan is taking part in the IPL. One-time IPL champion finished second last season behind Tehran-based Persepolis.
