Gulf News - The UAE national football youth team
under 17 will take part in a youth tournament in Isfahan, Iran in August.
The meet is a preparation for the Asian youth under 17 final qualifiers
which UAE will host from September 6-22. The UAE youth team is currently conducting a three weeks training camp in Hungary. The camp commenced on July 9 under French coach George Corak. The UAE delegation includes 24 players, chaired by UAE FA board of directors member Naser Al Yamahi, and manager Salah Al Saloumi. The team played two warm up matches during their stay in the training camp, they beat Hungarian club Sifok 4-0, and lost to Haladas 1-2 in the second match. The national under 17 team returns to Dubai on July 29 after their external training camp. They commence an internal training camp in the UAE before leaving for Isfahan |
