Kaebi impresses despite defeat

AFC – Hossein Kaebi received the seal of approval from Leicester City boss Ian Holloway even though the Iran international couldn’t prevent the Foxes going down 3-1 to Ipswich on Wednesday in his first start for the English Championship side.

"I was very pleased with little Hossein Kaebi on the right," Holloway told the club’s official website. "He was bright and it looked like he knew what he was doing."

Kaebi joined Leicester in July 2007 from Tehran giants Perspolis following stints in Qatar and the UAE and was part of the Iran squad that reached the quarter-finals of the 2007 AFC Asian Cup.
