Persepolis tops IPL ranking table

PTV - Persepolis beats Zob-e-Ahan 2-1 in the eighth week of the Iranian Premier League (IPL) to remain in the first place of IPL's table.

Sepehr Heidari and Karim Baqeri scored for Persepolis in minutes 22 and 58 after the popular team conceded a goal by Mohsen Mosalman in the 15th minute.

Persepolis, therefore, maintained its position at the top of the table with 20 points as Isfahan's Zob-e-Ahan dropped to the 17th place with 6 points.

The match was held in Tehran's Azadi Stadium before the eyes of some 50,000 fans.
