Iran continue reign as top-ranked team in Asia

AFC - Iran continued to reign as the top Asian team in the latest FIFA World Ranking for the month of May released on Wednesday.

Iran and Australia each moved a place up to go 41st and 42nd respectively while Japan climbed two places to go 44th in the standings. Korea Republic remained on the 51st position.

Uzbekistan are up by two places to 58 while Saudi Arabia and China are down a spot each to earn 63rd and 73rd positions respectively. There were no significant changes in the rankings of other Asian teams due to the lack of competitive matches over the month.
