PLDC - Even though the Head of the Disciplinary Committee had announced that there won't be any meetings hold until next Tuesday for any appeal, in a surprised move, the appeal committee had reduced Daei's ban from 4 games to 1, less than 48 hours after the initial decision. Ali Daei was originally ruled to be suspended for 4 games after the head-butting incident with Sheyc Rezaei last week. Before the appeal committee came down with its decision, a number of 'Majlis' representatives, including the representative from Ardebil had asked IFF to reduce Daei's suspension! Daei will miss its team's game away against Abumoslem and Sheyc Rezai who was also given a 1 match suspension, served his suspension in Perspolis's penalty shootout victory against Bargh Tehran and he is now available in IPL's week 22 game against PAS in 10 days time.
