PLDC - It was reported unofficially last week that Perspolis football team will be traveling to the UAE for a short training camp and will play at least one friendly match against a UAE first division team. The news was confirmed today as it was reported that the Red Giants will resume training after a 6-day mid-season break on Friday and will start up with a warm up match with their Omid team on Friday, and later in the week the team will travel to the UAE for a five day camp in Dubai. Perspolis, which is currently sitting 3rd in the league standings, will play 2 games in UAE and will be back in Tehran at the end of the week to prepare for possibly a derby match against their rivals Esteghlal in the 4th round of the Hazfi cup.
