Rene Simoes: Result gained in the Doha games not so dissatisfactory

ISNA-Iran's junior football team coach, Rene Simoes commented that he did not regard the results gained in the Asia Doha games as so dissatisfactory considering the team's condition.

"Before the games we had reached a satisfactory point and I counted on players such as Nekonam, Shojaie and Khatibi, which we lost them at the last minutes," Simoes explained.

"Therefore I can only say considering the conditions we had, the results gained aren't so dissatisfactory. But the truth is that we aimed for victory and we did not achieve it," he added.

When asked if he would continue his cooperation with Iran's football federation he commented that currently he was tired and wanted to return to his home country.

"But I love Iran and will return," said Rene Simoes.
