PLDC - It was reported today that the Sports Administrative Agency of Iran has send an official announcement, stating that after a couple of days of constant negotiations, AFC and FIFA have agreed to allow Iran U-23 national team to participate in the Asian games in Doha- Qatar, as the ban, according to the officials in Iran has temporary been lifted. Even though no official announcements have yet been reported to the media directly from FIFA or AFC, today's news coming from the official letter from "Sazman Tarbiyat Badani", seems to be reliable and confirmed. According to the same report, the defending champions of the tournament, Iran's U-23 national team will travel to Doha tomorrow to take part in the football tournament.
