Ahmadzade calls up 18 players for Iran U-17 squad

AFC - Iran U-17 coach Mohamad Ahmadzade has announced a squad of 18 players for the AFC U-17 Championship which will be held in Singapore from September 3-17.

The squad will fly to Moscow for two warm-up friendlies against their Russian counterparts on August 12 and 14 before returning to Tehran for an intensive training camp.

Iran, who reached the semifinals of the last edition in Japan and were runners-up in 2000, have been drawn with Iraq, Tajikistan and Yemen in Group B and will play their matches at the Bishan Stadium.
