Kazemian quashes rumors, remains Red

MNA – Striker Javad Kazemian scotched rumors that he is about to move from Persepolis to its capital-based old foe Esteqlal as he will extend his contract with the Reds here Saturday.

Following his meeting with Persepolis Club Managing Director Mohammad-Hassan Ansarifard, the fast-paced forward agreed to play for the popular team next season.

Kazemian trained with his new and old teammates Thursday.

Persepolis has yet to sign three more to complete its 25-strong list after its Under-23 national keeper Alireza Haqiqifar joined the seniors.
