Iran’s sports boss leaves Frankfurt for Tehran

MNA – Iran’s Vice-President and Head of Physical Education Organization (PEO) Mohammad Aliabadi departed here for Tehran Monday afternoon.

Aliabadi watched Iran’s soccer matches with Mexico and Portugal in the 2006 World Cup finals.

Iran was eliminated in the first round as it conceded two 3-1 and 2-0 losses to Mexico and Portugal respectively.

The Group D-bound Iran takes on debutant Angola in Leipzig Wednesday.
