| AFC - The draw for the
inaugural AFC Champions League was conducted in Seoul, Korea on Monday,
May 27.
More than 50 teams from throughout the continent have entered the competition, which is set to kick off in August with the first qualifying round. Eight teams including Asian Cup Winners Cup champions Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia, two-time J.League champs Kashima Antlers and powerful Dalian Shide from China have been seeded into the quarter-final group stages next March. There will be four quarter-final groups, two in West Asia and two in East Asia, with the winners advancing to the semi finals in April. Download the complete schedule:
