Ghiassi says referee Moradi will attend Frankfurt seminar

IRNA - Reza Ghiassi, head of Arbitration Committee of Iran's Football Federation here Sunday announced that the world's governing body FIFA had invited the international referee Massoud Moradi to attend a seminar in Frankfurt, Germany.

Ghiassi added FIFA in a letter to Moradi had officially invited the Asian Referee of the Year to take part in the seminar attended by judges picked for the 2006 World Cup.

He said the seminar would be held from March 21-24.

"All expenses of Moradi's trip to Germany will be borne by FIFA," the official added.

"All referees participating in seminar will undergo physical fitness, medical, and physiological tests," said Ghiassi adding, "Their knowledge of football rules and English language will be put to test."
