Angola beats German second division club in test match

IRNA - Iran's Group D World Cup rival Angola defeated German second division club Kickers Offenbach 1-0 in a test match during a training camp on Marbella, Spain, DPA reported Friday.

The African World Cup debutant scored the only goal in the 18th minute of the match.

With the exception of the goalie, Angolan coach Luis de Oliveira Goncalves substituted every player during the 90-minute game.

Angola plays its opening World Cup match against Portugal on June 11 in Cologne before heading to Hanover for a Group D match against Mexico on June 16 and an encounter with Iran on June 21 in Leipzig.
