GOAL - Ali Karimi scored on his Champions League debut as Bayern Munich thrashed Rapid Veinna 4-0 to secure a spot in the last sixteen.
The Iranian star starting in place of the injured Michael Ballack in midfield gave an assured performance in front of 66,000 fans in the Allianz Arena.

The 2004 AFC Player of the Year scored a fine goal nine minutes after the break to put the German side two-up. Roy Makaay scored twice towards the end after Sebastian Diesler opened the scoring in the 21st minute
