| PFDC - Ahmad Moemenzadeh
Esteghlal's striker was injured during a training session and was taken to
Tehran Hospital. Moemenzadeh was the second Iranian famous football player after Ahmadreza Abedzadeh who had a stroke and is miraculously recovering, to be a patient in ICU this month. Moemenzadeh who was trying to scissors-kick a ball in a training session, fell and suffered head injury. He was then immediately taken to the intensive care unit of Tehran Hospital. He went through extensive diagnostic testing and it was determined by the doctors that he did not suffer any head injury and was advised to rest for at least a week. ![]() The good news is that he is all right and can continue his playing after a short period of time but the impact must have been a tremendous shock for the talented striker. Especially after Abedzadeh's tragic incident. PFDC would like to wish Moemenzadeh luck and fast recovery.
