General’s Office praised the fans watching the second-leg final match of the
League Cup between Esteqlal and Sepahan in the 100,000-seater Azadi stadium,
west of Tehran, on July 7. Although some 90,000 fans watched the game,
police faced no trouble and the match ended in a peaceful atmosphere. |
