PLDC - Al Hussein of Jordan claimed a 1–0 away win over Esteghlal in the first leg of the AFC Champions League Two 2025/26 Round of 16, played at Al Maktoum Stadium in Dubai.
Esteghlal controlled much of the match and created several chances, but poor finishing and two disallowed goals prevented them from scoring. Goalkeeper Yazeed Abulaila also played a key role with multiple saves.
The game was decided in the 78th minute when Sisa struck from distance after a poorly cleared corner, giving Al Hussein a valuable advantage ahead of the return leg in Amman.
