Tehran Times - Sanat Naft football team were relegated at the end of the 2023/24 Iran’s Persian Gulf Pro League (PGPL).
Sanat Naft lost to Zob Ahan 2-1 in Isfahan and remained bottom of the table with 21 points with one week remaining.
Three other teams Esteghlal Khuzestan, Foolad and Paykan are in danger of being relegated from the PGPL.
Titleholders Persepolis lead the table with 65 points, one point above their archrivals Esteghlal.
