Ahmed Al-Ali Chosen to Officiate Iran, Qatar Match

Tasnim – Kuwaiti referee Ahmed Al-Ali was appointed to officiate the match between Iran and Qatar in the 2023 AFC Asian Cup semifinals.

The match is scheduled for Wednesday in Doha’s Al Thumama Stadium.

Al-Ali has previously officiated in the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers and AFC Champions League.

The 37-year-old referee will be assisted by Kuwait’s Abdulhadi Al-Anzi and Malaysian Zairul Khalil Tan.
