Blues win 55th Tehran derby with Persepolis&nbsp; <img border="0" src="http://www.persianleague.com/images/pic.gif">

IRNA - Esteqlal of Tehran on Friday beat their archrival Persepolis over the 55th derby of the capital in a packed 
100,000-seater Azadi Stadium, west of Tehran. 
A curling shot by Ali Samereh in the 10th minute put the blues ahead of the reds who have recruited the best of the best for the current season of Iran`s Professional League (IPL), among them the captain of the national squad Ali Daei. 
The gloom of the reds was even more compounded when Mahmoud Fekri shot a long-range free kick to kiss the net in the 55th minute. 
Issa Teourer scored a relieving single for the reds in the 68th minute that triggered a wave of fierce charges on the blues. 
However, all the efforts of Persepolis squad for an equalizer proved fruitless as the lucky Esteqlal ended the day victorious.
