Iranians are targeting Bassim Abbas

IraqSoccer - Iranian club Fajr have opened serious talks with Iraqi Olympic defender Bassim Abbas to sign him up for next season.

Fajr who drew 1-1 with the Iraqi Olympic team few days ago were impressed by the performance of Bassim Abbas during the matches Iraq played in the Abha Internation Football Friendship Tournament.

Bassim Abbas is known to Iraqi fans as *Roberto Carlos*, he plays the same position Reborto plays in, he has his toughness, speed, strong left foot, his number 6, and even his bold tanned look.

This is not the first time that Iranian clubs are targeting Iraqi players, Piruzzi of Iran has also showed interested few times for Emad Mohammed but negotiations didn't reach a final stage.
