PFDC - Iranian player Mojahed Khaziravi is currently in negotiations with Greek first division club OFI Crete. The 23-year old rightwinger was present in Greece last week, where he was undergoing medical checks. Khaziravi, who had been suspended from playing football in Iran after having trouble with the country's authorities, is about to reach an agreement with the club from the famous Island Crete. As the club's official homepage reported, the club is willing to sign the Iranian, despite detecting a not fully recoverd knee injury during the medical examination. However, the club has still to agree about a possible transfer fee with Khaziravi's current club, Esteghlal Tehran. In case of an agreement, further negotiations will be lead with the player's manager. OFI Crete finished as 8th in Greek first league this season, collecting 44 points out of their 30 matches. Mojahed Khaziravi booked 9 caps in the Iranian national team so far, scoring one goal. He had his last appearance for the national team in 2001, when he came on as a substitute in the world cup qualification playoff match against Ireland in Dublin. |
