Paykan, Abu Moslem wins IPL matches

IRNA - Paykan of Tehran and the Mashhad-based Abu Moslem won their matches in the 23rd week of Iran Pro League (IPL) on Monday. 
In Iran Khodro Stadium, west of Tehran, Paykan defeated visitor Foulad of Khuzestan 2-1. 
Abu Moslem thrashed Barq of Shiraz 3-0 in Mashhad's Takhti Stadium. 
Bahman Tahmasbi and Ramiz Mohammadev scored for Paykan in the 20th and 67th minutes and Ehsan Shirmardi scored the sole goal of Foulad in the 50th minute. 
Reza Enayati of Abu Moslem netted on 35 and 85 minutes and his teammate slotted home in the 88th minute.

*SOUTHERN BLUES WIN PULSATING MATCH AGAINST NAFT

Esteqlal of Ahvaz won a pulsating match of Iran Pro League against
the Abadani side San'at Naft here on Monday. 
Playing a 23rd week derby of the league, the southern blues saw off visitor Naft with a 3-2 defeat in front of some 5,000 spectators in Takhti Stadium. 
Amir Khalifeh-Asl took the lead for Esteqlal in the 9th minute but Naft's Alireza Daqaqeleh leveled the match five minutes later. 
Khalifeh-Asl grabbed his own and team's second five minutes after the break that was responded by Esmaeil Halali in the 55th minute. 
Afshin Kamaei scored the winner for blues in the 70th minute giving the host a 3-2 victory. 
Some 5,000 spectators watched the 23rd week match of Iran Pro League. 
Referee Masoud Moradi and his linesmen Nader Ja'fari and Iraj Shahrizadegan judged the match. 
With four matches in hand, the IPL leader Sepahan needs just one point to lift the trophy.
