Mahdavikia doubtful with knee injury for match against Bochum

IRNA - Hamburger SV forward Mehdi Mahdavikia was declared doubtful for the team's next game in Bochum after complaining of pain in his right knee, according to the HSV online press service. 
"We have sent Mahdavikia to a doctor for more thorough examinations and we are still waiting for an exact diagnosis," said Hamburg assistant coach, Armin Reutershahn. 
"But unfortunately it does not look too good right now for the game in Bochum," he added. 
Leading the Bundesliga in assists, Mahdavikia has enjoyed a great season so far and has been an important factor in the teams's surprise success this season. 
Hamburg can qualify for a UEFA Cup berth, if it manages to beat Bochum.
