PLDC - "If we feel the need, we will talk to KIRSTEN and Sergio and get them to help Esteghlal for the second half of the season." Ali Fatolahzadeh, The managing director of Esteghlal club told reporters:" We have not yet started serious negotiations, and unfortunately, the Media has already made a big deal out of this. If we feel that we can solve our scoring problems by getting foreign players, KIRSTEN and Sergio are the players we have in mind and we have started introductory negotiations." Fatolahzadeh continued:" Esteghlal has enough players and we don't really have a problem." In regards to Mahdavi, the former Esteghlal and Charlie player, he said:" because of the limitations that exist on transfers in IPL, we were not able to bring Mahdavi back to Esteghlal, and it would not be fair to him not to let him play with any other teams. If we could add an Iranian player to our team, we would have signed with Daryoush Ayoubi. He has been practicing with us since the beginning of the season but we can not use him in any of the IPL matches. We can however, use him in The Asian Champion's league." Fatolahzadeh also mentioned that Koch will come back from UAE tomorrow, he and added:" Koch and Zarincheh will sit down and talk and hopefully soon Zarincheh will become Koch's assistance." Fatolahzadeh by denying the rumors about Koch and Zarincheh's disputes, said:" I am optimistic about their negotiations and there is no problem between them." Fatolahzedh about Boroumand's situation said:" we have no problem with letting him go and issuing his legal papers, but he should first pay us his debts. Boroumand has another year and a half 'till the end of his contract with us, and since we have paid his fees all at the beginning, he should pay what he owes before he is allowed to leave and also we have not contacted any other club that he might want to go to, he can talk to the clubs his is interested in, himself."
