Parvin admits Federation proposal


PLDC - Ali Parvin, head coach of Persepolis of Tehran, has denied the fact that he was about to become a candidate as head of the Iranian Football Federation. He says he has no idea about such a move. It appears that he has been asked to join the IFF as a technical advisor but things will come to light in the near future.

PLDC - In the 8th week of the Iranian Professional League Esteghlal Tehran defeated Peykan Tehran with the score of 2-1. Javad Zarincheh, Estehglal Tehran player, was replaced in the second half of the match by the head coach, Roland Koch.

PLDC - Akbar Ghamkhar, chairman of Persepolis of Tehran, expressed the opinion that Yadegar Imam Stadium in Tabriz was the ideal place for holding the Esteghlal – Persepolis match in the 11th week of the Professional League. A new stadium for Esteghlal


PLDC - A new stadium will soon be built for Esteghlal of Tehran beside Eram Park. The club will be a complex of cultural, artistic and sports activities. Ronald Koch, head coach of Esteghlal commented on the events surrounding the opening ceremony of the stadium in about ten days, “In the first phase of its construction the pool, sauna, administrative and club management building will be built within the next ten months along with suitable, internationally acceptable grass pitches.
