PLDC - Tehran, Esteghlal's defender is on the verge of leaving the Tehrani club.

In an interview with FarsNews, Pejman Montazeri has revealed more about his situation in Esteghlal. The 30-year-old defender stated, "I am negotiating with a Chinese club, and if my wants and conditions are met then I will leave Esteghlal. However, I have a great relationship with Fatollahzadeh, Ghalenoei and Esteghlal as a whole."

He continued, "There has been a lot of talk about me leaving, and I am not the type to do too many interviews, but I want to clear things up so rumours don't spread. In a week from now everything will be clear and we will know whether I am staying or leaving."
