PLDC - Hamedan, The original Pas F.C was founded in Tehran in 1963. Pas brought great honor to Iranian football by winning the 1992-1993 Asian Champions League.

This club had and still has a large fan-base in Tehran and across Iran. In an effort to distribute Tehran's football power across Iran, the country's football federation (IFF) moved the club to Hamedan, a city in western Iran.

Its been two seasons that Pas F.C has been competing in the Azadegan league after being relegated from the Iran Pro League at the end of the 2010-2011 season.

This club finished third in Group B  of the Azadegan league this season, and therefore failed to earn a playoff spot for a chance to come back to Iran's top division. However, after Shahrdari Tabriz (who topped Group B) was caught for match-fixing and  was relegated into Iran's 2nd division (3rd tier of football system), Pas F.C. got another chance, as they were moved up to the second spot in the table, and Esteghlal Sanati Khuzestan to the first spot.

In the first leg of the first round of the play offs, Pas F.C. defeated Mes Sarcheshmeh in Hamedan by a score of 2-1. Sarcheshmeh player Hassan Najafi scored the first goal of the match in the 30th minute, but Morteza Tabrizi scored a brace to win the game for Pas (34th & 56th mins).

Pas F.C will play its away match against Sarcheshmeh this Thursday and can secure its spot in the next round of the play-offs with a draw.

The next round will be played against Zob Ahan F.C. who will fight to stay in the Iran Pro League on 6th and 11th June.

Both Pas F.C. and Zob Ahan F.C. are traditionally big Iranian clubs with large fan bases and both teams have contributed great players to Iranian football.
