PLDC - Sepahan Isfahan defeated Zob Ahan with the weak result of 1-0 in the ninth week of the Iranian Professional League. This result has given Sepahan the three points and they still stand at the top of the league
table with 25 points which is five ahead of the other teams.

In a short interview after the match, Farhad Kazemi, head coach of Sepahan Isfahan, commented, “The result wasn’t bad but there are those who want football to stay stagnant and restricted to only two teams. In the
Esteghlal Tehran and Saipa match, the match commentator only spoke of Esteghlal and praised them. Saipa played better though.”

“We did not play a good game and we only won in this match. Sepahan Isfahan only controlled the game well. We got the points but I am not happy in general. We are playing Persepolis in the 10th week which has 6 points for us. I’ll tell you why at the end of the league season. It is not a sensitive match though. I’ll watch their film tonight.”
