PLDC - According to Manucheher Nazari, Head of the Iranian Football Refereeing
Committee, any referee who has suitable capabilities will be used in the Professional League matches. This comment follows the use of top
Iranian referee, Mansour Mohammadi, in the Sepahan - Malavan match in the fourth week.
Nazari went on to say, "I think that any referee who has the abilities may judge Professional League matches. Old hands like Mohammadi have been
tested in past games and their judgment has been approved. When the league policy was written, a number of the first rate referees of the time
could not be accepted for judgments of games due to age considerations."
"The Committee is now trying to prevent anyone from being treated unjustly and we have the performance of all the referees under our scrutiny
and consideration and will make our decisions accordingly. Mohammadi became recognized as the best referee in the fourth week and both teams
were happy with him. The other referees will be used if conditions are right."
