Iran climbs to 3rd of Asia

PLDC - According to the latest rankings by FIFA (as of 24/10/2002), Iran now stands 32nd in the world with 636 points, which is a position shared by Ecuador who is at present above Iran, and is the third to team of Asia
just behind Japan in second and Korea in first place.

This now means that Iran has made a two-place climb in ranking which was the result of the recent victory in Busan (14th Asian Games) and has become the most successful team in the rankings.
